Our staff members are a combination of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, CMS membership website software and membership sector experts who focus on making any project as hassle-free as possible for our customers. Most of them have at least 10 years’ CRM experience so you can be sure their advice is based on having seen what works well in any given situation.
Here's an overview of our leadership team.
Since launching the company in 2007, Ahmed has established smartimpact as a leading provider of Dynamics CRM solutions. Combining his understanding of business and membership needs with technical expertise he has ensured smartimpact has high quality, robust, yet flexible software and a team of experts who support membership organisations through every part of the implementation process. This leadership has led to ten consecutive years of significant growth and excellent reputation in the sector.
Charbel started his career building e-commerce and social network websites for a leading company in the US in 2003. Around the middle of the decade he came across Microsoft Dynamics CRM and since then has built many successful CRM systems, one of which is among the largest in Europe.
As an independent consultant, Charbel worked on some of these systems directly with the end customer and others through large Microsoft partners including 2e2, Cap Gemini and IM Group. He has deep experience in the business sector including membership management, subscription management and patient management, with clients such as Nautilus, Private Equity International and Guys & St Thomas’ Hospital.
Head of Projects
Jo Cook had been a membership specialist for the five years immediately prior to joining smartimpact, Jo specified and implemented CRM, website and finance integration projects as the client project manager.
This project management experience is supported by over 15 years marketing and communications experience in manufacturing, not for profit and membership sectors.
Jo brings a deep understanding of the benefits and implementation challenges organisations’ can face to her role as Senior Project Manager and Membership Consultant.
Head of Sales and Marketing
Steve Sydee leads our sales and marketing, having worked with CRM systems since 1996 and first worked with Not for Profit organisations in 1998. He was one of the first people in the UK to work with Microsoft Dynamics CRM in 2003, and has been involved with hundreds of projects, winning Microsoft Partner of the Year three times along the way. He's worked at smartimpact since 2011 having first been a customer, when smartimpact built and implemented a range of Dynamics CRM products for him.
Steve is a firm believer that Membership CRM projects succeed best when there is a great rapport between the customer and the supplier, based on a good understanding of each other's business and culture.
Client Development Manager
Naresh has over 10 years of experience in business development, marketing and client management.
As Client Development Manager he is responsible for engaging with clients around Microsoft Dynamics 365/smartmodules. He has a clear focus on understanding their day to day challenges, as well as their overarching business goals. He believes in developing a culture of partnership with both stakeholders and technology users as a means of delivering a joint platform of success.
